The Best Healers in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands

The recent expansion pack, “Shadowlands” has brought a new race, new zones, adventures, and tons of new content. But the magnificence of the new world is matched only by the amazing new healer race, the Valkyr. If you play World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, you’ll find the Valkyr to be as formidable as they are powerful.

“What do healers use?” is a question I see asked by a lot of players and Healers themselves. In my opinion, this is a difficult question to answer because there are so many different aspects of healing. Each healer is going to be a little different, with different roles, different playstyles and different talents. So, I decided to make a list of the healers I feel are the best at healing in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

In the world of WoW, healer roles are often overlooked for DPS classes, which is unfortunate, because of healers, the party can stay alive, and DPS classes can be very effective. However, there are a few healers that stand out above the rest. In this article I will explore the best healers in WoW. I will compare their stats and other relevant information, and give a short list of the top 5 healers in WoW.

It turns out you can kill a soul. An even bigger problem is that some of these souls are also trying to kill us. Despite being in a literal afterlife, the best healers in WoW are still asked for their help. Looking for more tips and tricks for WoW ? Click to see all our guides World of Warcraft . Since they are responsible for keeping the group alive and out of the Twilight Lands forever, it is crucial to know which healer class suits you best. The following guide will help you maximize your efficiency and determine the best healer in WoW for your play style.

Best healers for PvE in WoW: Sunset Country

In an expansion that severely punishes players who violate certain mechanics, the healing is more intense than ever. After all, the goal is to keep your group alive, not to have the highest cure rates. To do this, you must be able to respond to major damage or prepare for it in advance. As long as your mana holds up and your team is alive, you’ve done your job.

6. Priest (discipline)

Image: Blizzard via HGG / Jeffrey Hsu word-image-13023

Among the healers, the Priests of Discipline occupy a special place, because they do not so much heal evil as prevent it. Their set consists mainly of absorbing shields and healing allies by dealing damage and converting it into healing with Atonement. Disciplinary Priests, perhaps the most aggressive healer, shine when paired with a team of damage avoiders. As previously stated, your first priority is to give your allies a 30 second Atonement -buff as soon as possible. Any damage you inflict is turned into healing for those affected by Redemption. The most efficient way to apply the buffer is via Power Word: Shield, which has the advantage of creating a small shield around the target. Note that an ally with a shield cannot be hit again by a debuff for 7.5 seconds, but your Rapture ability can work around this and boost your next shield on the target. For immediate care, count on Shadow Mend for quick and moderate care. Unfortunately, he also casts a DoT on the healed target that disappears at half the healed damage. Fortunately, most damage sources will quickly meet this requirement. You will also often use Penance to fire three fast healing grenades at a target, but this skill can also be used to inflict damage on enemies. Most of your healing comes from the damage you do to your enemies. Given the reconciliation effect, you must constantly damage your opponents to keep your allies alive: Pain (or Purge the Wicked , as many priests do) on as many targets as possible for an easy stream of constant DoT damage. Weave chastisement, flash of reason, and repentance where you can. For AoE care, Power word: Radiation will be your primary power. You bomb the target and four other allies with a healing bolt and apply Redemption to them for a limited time. From there, you can quickly inflict damage to heal them all. It should be noted that most priests use the Spirit Shelltalent, which further improves the damage-avoiding playstyle. This gift puts your Redemption , Word of Power :. Radiance, , and Penance heal absorption shields for ten seconds, followed by a one-minute cooldown. This can make a big difference in avoiding burst damage and gives the other healers in your group a chance to heal the team normally. Additionally, Priests of Discipline have access to Power Infusion, an absolutely amazing rush buff that is normally applied to your best DPS specialist to lift their damage to the stratosphere. The priests of the Discipline are also known to have access to a ridiculous number of dispensaries. You can erase Allied Magic and Disease , resolve Enemy Magic buffs, and resolve Enemy Allied Massive buffs and debuffs at once. You also have access to Leap of Faith to rescue allies from deadly situations they’ve found themselves in due to poor positioning. As long as your team doesn’t take any avoidable damage, priestly apprentices can avoid death.

  • A heavy healer
  • Excellent prevention of damage caused by inputs
  • Works well with other healers and gives them time to heal more damage.
  • Not very good at repairing damage
  • Requires a very different mindset than other healers.
  • Group members should do as little harm to each other as possible.

5. Monk (fog weaver)

Image: Blizzard via HGG / Jeffrey Hsu word-image-13025

By bending and weaving the healing properties of chi, the Mists Monks are incredibly resilient and mobile healers who focus on healing a single target, supplemented by HoTs (healing over time) imposed on the raider group. In a high-level game that alternates between healing and doing damage, monks can save lives by taking others. Before we talk about his healing abilities, you should know that his attacks administer Mystic Touch to enemies, causing them to take 5% additional physical damage from all sources. On priority targets, this is a huge damage boost for your team, so use it against enemies every chance you get. As for remedies, use Renewing Mist as your priority HoT when possible. This skill is highly synergistic with your Revivesingle-target quick heal, which heals a target affected by Fog renewing , even if applied to another ally. Use Thunder Focus tea to improve one of your abilities, usually either Invigorate or Renewing Mist to lower mana and maintenance costs. Enveloping Mist serves as a more powerful HoT, increasing any HoT already applied to the target, useful for healing when inflicting heavy damage to a single target. In emergency mode, you can use Cocoon of Life to create a massive shield over the target and further enhance the healing you receive. For AoE healing, Summon Yu’lon is excellent for passively healing up to three allies, depending on who you’re targeting. He can also cast Enveloping Mist on his allies. Essence Font serves as an AoE emergency heal that applies HoT to those the spell deems severely damaged, but can also be used as a powerful single-target tool if you disable the channel early to apply HoT to priority targets. Resurrection is another powerful AoE spell that instantly heals all allies within forty yards and frees them from negative effects, while Detox works as a single-object purge. Between heals, you can also use Dispel Damage to convert some of your heals into damage to the enemy, and add Kick of the Rising Sun if possible. The Role and Transcendence abilities also improve the monk’s mobility, allowing you to quickly reach wounded allies and avoid death from various boss mechanics. If you master the monk’s arsenal of healings and attacks, you can easily become one of the best healers in WoW.

  • An incredibly mobile healer
  • Excellent emergency cooling to prevent death
  • Causes high damage and a very powerful buff to party members who do physical damage.
  • Something like a handyman, a handyman, a handyman.
  • It is difficult to manage the entanglement of evil and healing together.
  • Requires adjustment for effective healing of multiple targets.

4. Priest (holy)

Picture: Blizzard via HGG / Jeffrey Hsu word-image-13027

The holy priest is a more direct type of healing priest that sets the standard for traditional healers. Unlike damage dodging like their discipline counterparts, holy priests are very good at damage suppression. Holy priests specialize in keeping a raid group alive, but also in very powerfully healing individual targets with Holy Word spells. You have two instant healings – healing and flash healing. I’m sure you can figure out which one is bigger, but slower. Then you have the basic healing of a target Holy Word: Serenity , which often restores about 50% of the target’s health. The one minute action time is reduced by six seconds each time you use the other two standard healing spells, so it will be used quite often. You also have access to two HoTs like Renew and Prayer of Mending. The first is standard, which also shortens the duration of your main AoE healing spell, while the second takes effect when you take damage and can jump to allies after it expires. Make sure you always keep recovery prayer . For AoE care, you will largely rely on Holy Word:Sanctify . This is an AoE target circle that is excellent for stacked players. As mentioned above, his action time is reduced by Renew, so this skill also works. They also have three other powerful AoE healing spells, namely Healing Prayer, Healing Circleand Divine Hymn. The first is a standard targeted AoE that heals up to five players, the second is the same but with more mana saving, and the last is a huge channeled emergency heal that also increases all heals by 10% (great for coordinating with other healers). I’m sure you can see why they are among the best raid healers in WoW. As disciplining priests you have access to Leap of Faith, all scattering skills and Infusion of Strength. You stand out in utility with a tremendous skill that your fellow healers will love – Symbol of Hope. This ability restores as much as 12% mana for five seconds. Use it when the healer says he has no more energy. Additionally, when you die, you turn into an angel and can use all your abilities for fifteen seconds without mana. It’s a great skill for the final frontier, you just have to hope you have someone to charge you to keep fighting. The holy priests, who are the embodiment of the traditional healers, will always be the basic healers.

  • Ideal for keeping stacked players alive
  • A very large pool of accessible skills
  • Incredibly good at repairing damage immediately
  • Clumsy, no real mobility.
  • Increased mana in some skills
  • Most of the time the patient has to stand in a fixed position and lie in the cast

3. Paladin (Saint)

Picture: Blizzard via HGG / Jeffrey Hsu word-image-13029

The Holy Paladin is a single-use healing commando and WoW’s best tank healer in the game, and he shines above the rest for good reason. With incredibly powerful direct heals and excellent utility abilities, Holy Paladins can make or break a group with certain mechanics. Before we dive into their skills, it’s important to note that paladins differ from other healers in that they must manage a holy power of five points in addition to mana. Some skills can only be used if you have enough holy power, but they are fairly easy to generate and usually very powerful. First, hold the beacon on your priority target (usually the main tank). Each healing of other allies also heals your main target by 50%, and direct healing of your main target generates holy power. Holy Light and Light Flash are your standard basic heals, with slow and fast effects respectively. If available, use Holy Shock for great instant healing and generating sacred energy. They normally use Aura of Devotion to reduce damage, and can activate Aura Mastery as emergency defense for eight seconds. Weave Crusader’s Strike, Judgment, and Hammer of Wrath between heals when you have enough breath and mana to generate additional holy power. For holy power expenses, change from Word of Glory to Light of Dawn for simple healings and AoE healings respectively. Both spells are incredibly powerful and require three units of Holy Power to cast, with 15 meter frontal cone Light of Dawn depending on position. In terms of usability, you have one of the most diverse sets of healers. Blessing of Freedom removes and renders the target immune to movement limiting effects, and can be an absolute lifesaver against slowing effects in high mobility combat. Blessing of Protection negates all physical damage to the target, and is excellent for allowing players to mitigate mechanics that would otherwise kill them. Blessing of Sacrifice allows you to split the damage a player takes between you and him, often saving the tank’s life during high damage phases. Don’t worry, it stops before the damage can kill you, so coordinate your actions and use it often. Of course, paladins are also known for Lay on Hands as an emergency superheal and their reduction/immunity bubbles like Divine Protection and Divine Shield, making them perfect for absorbing mechanics that would otherwise kill most players. Healers pur sang, holy paladins serve as a link to keep tanks alive.

  • Strong and lasting healing
  • A great advantage to save the Allies
  • Fantastic single target healing, especially for tanks.
  • Mana intensive
  • Low quality group treatment
  • The setting is too simple and boring for some.

2. Druid (Restoration)

Image: Blizzard via HGG / Jeffrey Hsu word-image-13031

The lord of nature, the druid healer is the best AoE healer in WoW. With a focus on HoTs and AoE abilities, Restoration Druids can easily involve death if damage is constantly flooding into a room. They don’t have much immediate healing, but their HoT can easily handle normal healing on multiple targets with enough training. For druidic skills, focus on the three basic HoT cycle: Life Bloom (usually important for a tank), Rejuvenation, and Regrowth for the entire raid group. Focus on using Regrowth during the Omen of Clarity window to save mana. You can use Swiftmend on a target with a ticking HoT to absorb that HoT and give an instant healing flash. Iron Bark can also be pronounced on a target to instantly reduce damage by 20% and increase HoT healing, which can easily save an affected ally. Try to support your Blossom AoE heal under the feet of your allies with Wild Growth as a more powerful secondary AoE heal. Tranquility will be your primary raid save for now, but for maximum effectiveness you should stand still and run it. In addition, you have an 8-second purge of magical, cursed, and poisoned effects with Nature Healing and Calm to deal with anger effects. Druid healers are also the best at fighting to get Rees through Rebirth. Additionally, Druid healers bring a fantastic benefit to the team with the Innerveal ability, which allows you or an ally to make all spells free for ten seconds and restore mana. Stomping Roar gives the raid a huge speed boost, while Devouring Roots and Ursol’s Vortex keep enemies in place. If you’re looking for a healer that can maintain constant healing pressure during a raid and still have flexible movement options, the Druid Healer is your choice.

  • Superb AoE care
  • Permanent healing in addition to all other healings
  • Good to use for CCing and imbibing mechanics with survivable cooldowns.
  • Single target high damage combat
  • DoT-based damage denies healing to some extent.
  • Constant pressure to maintain HoTs

1. Shaman (Catering)

Image: Blizzard via HGG / Jeffrey Hsu word-image-13033

The recovery shaman might be the best healer in WoW right now. He shines with powerful level heals and flexible abilities. In addition to having some of the highest healing rates in the game, healer shamans have unique healing abilities that allow them to stabilize a raid group without having to heal anyone in panic. To get started, you absolutely need Earth Shield. This skill places a barrier over the target, healing it up to nine times when it takes damage and increasing the healing it receives. Your tanks will love it. Always carry the Water Shield to maintain a steady stream of mana regeneration, which is enhanced if you are unlucky enough to be hit by a melee attack. Let’s move on to the treatment itself. The two standard treatments are Healing Wave and Healing Wave. The first is a quick and great remedy and the second is a slower and more effective remedy. You should cast Riptide on targets expected to take a lot of damage, as it immediately heals much of the damage and leaves a powerful HoT on them. As with your normal AoE healing, for passive healing you should consistently keep healing rain where most of the raid is. Drop a Healing Current Totem at your feet to heal multiple allies. Finally, Chain Heal is your best friend when you need to heal multiple people instantly, as it switches from your primary target to the next two most injured allies. Now let’s talk about the unique aspects of shamanic healing. The big one is your spiritual connection totem. Not only does it reduce damage within a ten-meter radius, but it also has the unique effect of equalizing the health percentage of all persons within its range. When a raid takes heavy damage or you need to rescue a tank, you can use this spell to make sure everyone has the same amount of health. In conjunction with your other major cooldown, Totem of the Healing Tide, you can continue to heal with your normal skills while benefiting from the powerful AoE healing boosts of Totem of the Healing Tide. If you need to move while you heal, you can activate Grace of the Spirit Shifter to use it for fifteen seconds while you move. You can also perform CPR every twenty minutes with Reincarnation, which can save your life in some scenarios. Other healers will love you for your Mana Tide Totem, which gives you powerful mana regeneration for eight seconds. Of course you also have Heroism/Bloodlust , which is almost mandatory for all endgame fights. You also have one of the shortest breaks in the game, Wind Shear, , allowing you to succeed on all break rolls. In short, among all healers, you have a wide range of choices about what to do in a given situation. There is a reason why every high end raid team takes a shaman as their best healer for Castle Natria.

  • Fantastic treatment rooms
  • Excellent emergency cooling
  • Very flexible selection of healing spells
  • It takes a long time.
  • Slightly below average performance if no cooldown is available.
  • Requires proper alignment of allies to benefit from healing.

Best Healers for PvP in WoW: Sunset Country

This section will be much shorter, as we covered the main aspects of each healer class above in the PvE section. Instead, we will look at why each healer has exactly the point in the meta strategy where storm damage is king. Remember, your goal is to exceed the enemy team’s cooldowns, and your damage dealers don’t have to worry about spending global cooldowns on survivability abilities instead of damage abilities. If you can, you should also constantly keep the CC and do damage.

6. Shaman (Catering)

While Shamans are considered the best healers for PvE content, they unfortunately suffer from some problems in PvP. In fact, some of their best healing rolls rely on allies standing next to their totems, which isn’t exactly practical when players are constantly chasing and running around each other. Their totems can also be targeted/killed, which isn’t exactly ideal.

  word-image-13035

But they still have the advantage of tremendous raw healing power. Unfortunately, you also don’t have any survivor’s guilt towns, and are leaning towards Snook.

5. Druid (Restoration)

Since you’re a healer who relies on HoT, you generally keep your allies alive even when you’re hooked. Unfortunately, the PvP metaphor is about burning a target, and you’ll have a hard time keeping it alive if you can’t immediately heal a target.

  word-image-13037

That’s not to say you can’t do it, but you will definitely have to furiously push buttons to get Swiftmend on target and reapply HoTs in a constant loop. There is also a very high risk of encountering a mage or priest who steals/uses your HoTs and leaves you and your allies vulnerable. However, due to your innate ability to survive by switching to bear form and jumping kuldans, it is unlikely that your opponent can hit you with a burst hook. This gives your team time to turn things around and just slow the opponent down if necessary.

4. Monk (fog weaver)

As the most mobile healer in the game, you’ll often infuriate enemies with your ability to lure them in and run away with little health, only to recover fully. In a meta where the emphasis is on short fights, your arsenal of offensive skills can be used to block and hammer the enemy before you even have to switch to a healer role.

word-image-13039

But if you’re on the defensive, your quick throws (including Revival) and Health Cocoon Shield are more than enough to keep you alive. Be careful when your skills are on hold, because you’re counting on it not to get out of hand.

3. Priest (holy)

This may seem like an odd choice considering how weak holy priests generally are, but it becomes pretty clear why they are so good at higher item levels. The amount of damage inflicted by the opponent does not matter when a Holy Word: Serenity cancels all damages. Once you are equipped strongly enough, any significant damage can be nullified by one of your heals, even Flash Heal.

  word-image-13041

Additionally, you can access significant damage by simply using Holy Word:. Chastisement to hit an opponent, and permanently spam Torment to shorten the duration of your hit. Your Mass Dispel can also be a game changer, stripping enemies of their buffs and removing debuffs from your team. However, you are somewhat susceptible to interruptions and holy blocks, so beware of the enemy timing their spells so that they enchant you and destroy your allies before you have time to react.

2. Priest (discipline)

While your shields aren’t as good in PvE, they are an absolute godsend in PvP. The final bosses are constantly taking devastating hits, and players rely on long timeouts. As long as your shield is up, you and your allies must withstand all attacks against you from players fleeing their kuldahs.

  word-image-13043

Your spirit shell can be charged to ridiculous levels, forcing your opponent to use cooldowns or time to breakthrough. In the meantime, shoot at your enemies and act like a DPS instead of a healer. If an enemy comes through the shield, you can always use Psychic Scream to chase them away until you can put the shield back up and heal yourself. Also with your own survival kuldunpain removal, it will be incredibly difficult to kill you before you put up another shield. Plus, you’ll have access to all the scatters, and you can turn the tide with the help of the holy priests, as mentioned above.

1. Paladin (Saint)

Since the goal of the game is to shoot someone until they die, it makes sense that the strongest single-target healer would be at the top. You will constantly be able to quickly amass holy power and heal anyone you mark with Beacon of Light. If they ever get too low, Word of Glory can easily restore them. Unfortunately, you can’t use Lay on Hands in ranked PvP, but you probably won’t need it.

  word-image-13045

If your ally is really close to death, Blessing of Protection/Spell gives him more than enough time to restore his health. Additionally, you can nullify any attempt by your opponent to draw your team with Blessing of Freedom. There are also benefits to being essentially a tank healer, as Plate Armor and your divine shield mean you have two health bars. An instant stun of 6 seconds and the ability to dish out execution damage with Hammer of Fury is just the icing on the cake for being the best WoW healer in PvP.   word-image-4766 word-image-4767

Frequently Asked Questions

Which healer does the most damage WoW Shadowlands?

There is little better that a healer who can quickly heal the entire raid. A healer with the ability to pause the entire raid while a healing spell is charging and then heal them all when it is finally ready. A healer that can make the raid feel safe while they are not actually taking damage. A healer who will heal them all and heal them faster than anyone else. A healer who has the ability to heal like a boss when they need to. These are the healers who are capable of doing the most damage in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. So which healer do we think is capable of doing the most damage in WoW: Shadowlands? I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since the game’s release, and have even been to three continents before the Cataclysm update. I also have a computer science degree, and consequently have a lot of free time to play IRL. Given all this, I was intrigued when I heard that the developers were bringing back Pandaria with the new expansion, Shadowlands. Shadowlands is an epic 40-man raid, and I’ve been wanting to try it out for a while. However, the lack of clear information on the best healers has been frustrating. I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that, but I’ll go ahead and do it anyway.

What is the easiest healer in Shadowlands?

Shadowlands is a multi-platform MMORPG where players fight for control of the lands of Azeroth. It pits faction against faction, race against race, and class against class, as they battle for the power to rule the world. It is no secret that World of Warcraft is a popular MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) and it also has a very long player-base, but an even more important fact is that it has grown by leaps and bounds and being a long-standing game play, it has evolved in a distinctive manner. With the constantly growing player-base, the game has evolved to a point where even the healers who are considered the weakest by most players are in fact the most popular and the most powerful characters in the game. The least experienced healer or the first one to encounter the enemy is the one who can easily be considered the most powerful one in the game, but why is that?

What is the best healer in World of Warcraft?

There are many healers in World of Warcraft, and each of them have their own unique play style and talents. Some are tanks, some are ranged DPS, some are healers, some are even balance raid healers. This is not an article about why each healer is the best for their role. It is about one healer in particular. He is an Australian druid, who has helped us many times. He is the best healer in the game, bar none. Playing World of Warcraft is not an easy task, but taking care of that character is. Everyone knows that healing is a big part of the game, but which one is the best? Is it the tank, the ranged dps, the melee dps, the healer, or the mage? Here is a review of the best healers in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

Among Us Review: Paranoid Murder Fun for the Whole Family

Among Us is a horror game that plops players into the role of a socially isolated individual who stumbles upon a mysterious village that seems to be populated with strange, deformed people. But wait, in walks a voice that tells you that it’s all a joke—it’s just a game. And so you try to get your money back . . . and find out that it was an e-reader that you purchased that led you to the village. It’s then that the killings begin. A game that starts with the words “Among Us” is bound to be strange, and Among Us: The Resistance certainly delivers in this regard. The game puts you in the role of a character that lives in a world where a new “Leader” has taken power, and you have to fight for your sanity and the future of the world. Not only are there the usual suspects like skeletons and ghosts, but there are also things like demonic clowns and mantis-people. Who knows what else is in store for you in this strange, semi-coherent nightmare world? Among Us takes place in a rural town where...
